I am still in the building folks...so it's been a minute but duty calls and the hustle never stop. I am currently in the studio work on the sophomore LP "IF NOT THE BEST AT LEAST A BEAST!" due out this summer. It proves that that the beast in me never sleeps, and promises to give it's listener that same punch-you-in-your-face-for-living-hip-hop you fiend for. Also as many of you I released a online EP during the latter part of 2009 entitled "THE BEAST OF BURDEN EP" currently available on itunes and amiestreet.com . One of the dopest songs on the ep is BANG CITY BRAWLERS which was produced and features my man Dewey Binns of 8BIT CYNICS...check it out here @ http://bln.kr/4UG/ and keep beast'n!

I THINK AIR YEEZY'S ARE GAY!

THE NIKE AIR YEEZY “GAY FISH” EDITIONS

Some how I don’t think Kanye will be wearing these any time soon. Based on the South Park episode...which in my opinion wasn't as funny as some of the more recent ones but it really hit home with the Kanye thing. These things take the cake they show the true nature of KW's flamboyant lifestyle...just like Tony Montana's captured tiger during the the "PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT" montage.

Free Download: Nasty Nas '91 Demo Tape

Having dropped out of school in the 8th grade, Nas was about 18 years old when he recorded most the tracks that would make up his demo tape. Life is Like a Dice Game is the unquestionable gem on this tape. Take a listen and download the whole album here

KRS-One says.... Def Jam single handedly destroyed hip-hop

KRS-One doesn't like Def Jam Recordings.

But he respects them as a label competing with others. Here he only, as he puts it showed the truth about the New York-based label founded by Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin, which is now a unit of Universal Music Group.

Here's the Blastmaster to XXL Magazine:

"Def Jam is the dopest label in hip-hop, in the culture of hip-hop. There really would be no hip-hop as we know it today if it wasn't for Def Jam. But you don't get that respect without also being the label that single-handedly destroyed hip-hop...Every time you think of what's wrong with hip-hop, the lyrics, the commercialized music, one artist being played on the radio all day, things like that, that's all Def Jam...We respect it. It's a respect cause we all competing, so Def Jam had the hardest competition, but the hardest competition as I showed the respect, I also showed the truth. And the truth is everybody else had to sit down so Def Jam could be who they are." Read the rest of the article here.....
